We think this is a first – Wangkatjungka Community will create their own music-based program to improve mental health in the community – their way, their language, their ideas. What happens when a prominent musician who features in many songs and film clips and photos tragically passes away? In the midst of our grief – who do we need to talk to about the practicalities of questions like – Do we need to remove all content that contains that person’s work from the web? And if so – for how long? I can tell you – this is a very difficult, heartbreaking and intrusive conversation to have. But these things are important and, tragically, we have had to make those phone calls and do those things.
